Auto-matching is the system pairing each requested item to the right catalog SKU on its own, instead of a person picking it by hand. You set how confident it has to be before it trusts a match: above your threshold it matches automatically; below it, the item gets flagged for a person to confirm. That lets each company dial in how much to lean on automation versus human review, with tight control where accuracy is critical.
